A Spoonerism (named after William Archibald Spooner) is a play on words in which the first letter(s) or sound(s) of two or more words are switched to create new words or phrases. Our intention is not to offend anyone, but we are sure that this will happen. Our apologies. Remember the old adage, ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me’.
